While we're on the subject, where can I check my criminal rating? I had one for a while, then I think I paid it off, but I couldn't find where to check my exact criminal rating at the time, if there's a place to see that. The simplest way I see to fix it - make comitatus consume no supplies when resting in the mansion, for more money or something (you are not eating your own food in the tavern, are you?).Īnd btw you could make use of the market news system - once you exchange the news from the distant place, you will get some clues on lets say "mirage needs chitin".Originally posted by KWexoo:Thanks. You can kinda get away with buying and slaughtering beasts but that dips into your pocket so bad that there is no way for a trip to be profitable. You need big team to be able to survive in the wild and that big team consumes a lot more supplies a day than most of the settlements produce, and hunting is so meh that I even stopped trying - with all skills maxed out it yielded result maybe one time over the 100+ days (and I know that you cant hunt in cities or roads). Overall the thing that got really annoying is that you are de-facto tied with a big heavy chain to Shelter. And dont even think on router farther like Mirage, they wont pay back even with contracts to the both sides. I also tried to trade with Lumen and Drusian (pottery-crystals and mushroom wine-obsidian), but the issue with them is that you nearly never have contracts back to shelter from there and trade profit is only here to pay up for travel. Add in faction contracts and passengers and you can make some profit, not big enough to make you rich but decent to make some initial money. Quite stable trade route that earned me some money to able to feed my people is pottery to Arken and marble back to Shelter. ![]()
